Moved from a shack to a barn

0 posted 2003-05-24 12:26 PM

I’ve struggled always
to reach the summit
in search of the light

Oh, Glory

Time and again
my progress was halted
by false trail
and slippery foothold

Leaving me to start anew
the quest for revelation
and fall short of sanctity

Oh, Hosanna

But, I now realize
that my path was amiss
from the very first step
and I’ve tired from the labor

So, I sit waiting
here in the lowlands
hoping to finally be found

Grace--something I've been thinking about much lately. Not achieved by works, and yes, it is so.

Hugs you. Sometimes the hardest lesson in life is that we are doing exactly what we should...

Hugs to you. All IS well.

A man is found when he is ready....

I have a feeling you've already been found by your Grace....and know it well.

Nice job, Ed

Don't dismiss being in the valley as a bad thing. We all need valleys in our life to show us how wonderful it is when we reach the summit.

If it is a 'she' you're waiting for - she will come. If it is emotional grace you are waiting for - you already have it - in spades. I have yet to meet a more grace-full Wranx!

your heart, your valley of humanity, holds much grace already, so, dearest Ed, you needn't keep looking any other place for ultimate grace

don't mind if I take a quick peek and rush back out do you?

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

In our personal struggles we learn perspective, and if we are lucky we become graceful and accept the reasons why. Often,  we find we held the winning card the whole time.

Nice write,  ace~

is that what you are doing
down by the river?

what if that savior
is water?
