“BEAUTIFUL BROWN EYES” by Bill Charles ~~~~ As we lay close together all through the night, I held you close in flickers of candlelight, slowly your eyes opened and were with love’s gaze, those beautiful brown eyes, they were all ablaze… Large and sensuous with a dark brown hue, sensitive and caring belonging only to you, a passionate look with such darkness of color, captures me totally, always will I be your lover… Gentle with kindness and soft with tenderness, they look into my being, and are so very amorous, clear like the sky but still teasingly brown, all I can say is that I’m glad you were found… Beauty it is said is in the eyes of the beholder, but when I look into yours, they are the abductor, my heart is captured and my thoughts bewildered, about the many different looks that you have acquired… How does one explain these passions without doubt, for one of such sensitive beauty both inside and out, fondness and caring reign without any question, one with such eyes, they are my heavenly passion… Brown eyes you have to mesmerize, there is no other, tonight stare into mine, as we love one another, so close your eyes and sleep through the night, for I’ll be there to see them again, in the dawn’s early light… ~~~~ |

 (smiles) Oh Bill, I was wonderfing when you were going to pay homage to the brown eyes, sweet friend, was almost worried you'd leave them rejected but with your golden heart, you will always bring a smile to everyone! Lovely my friend ... unfortunately the only brown eyes in my family belong to my dog, but I love her and she loves me too, not quite the same as the ones you're looking into, but close as I can get. Again, wonderful write... jwesley |

Bill...You have a magnificent obsession. It seems the shade of brown has captured your heart and your soul. What a wonderful gift of expressing your innermost feelings that you have. My poem, "The Many Shaded Blue," was not written for one person; but for that person who is in my dreams and hoped for. And,it is a compilation of all the feelings I have experienced in past relationships. I didn't mind you asking. Bill, So many pairs of eyes, colors, and hues...so little time, huh? I love eyes too. They are indeed the mirror of soul. My daughter (the four year old)and I have the same blue eyes. We both are complimented on our eyes...and I guess, in all modesty, they are pretty darn blue. Any way, she often stares directly into my eyes...I ask her what she sees...She says, "I see you, Mama." Out of the mouths of babes, huh? I am looking forward to the hazel perspective. I have read the blue, the green, and the brown. You must complete the series! -Patricia |
