The Most Frightening Thing

Like a caged bird, you sing the remnants
of wings rusted by wire.
Void of key, a prison, the heart dies
while stripped of its desire.

This house of dreams, so feebly clings
to the hope, tearful cope,
that someday will bring a prince
and open the door to the sky.
But, invisible walls send not your calls
of a soul, longing, waiting.

And love is fleeting, dissipating
of foolish things we hold
to pass the hours, and waste the days;
Though the sound of regret still rings
through skin of unshakable things.

You spend the last half of your life
trying to make up for the first;
And there’s nothing more frightening
than being left alone with your thoughts.

(big hugggsssssss) What comes first is to always being true to yourself, true happiness always begin with you, then as you find your peace add more branches to that lemon tree! (sigh) Extend yourself from the heart, sweet friend, God Bless You, I know this pain, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Melissa, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story

I really loved both of those verses,
it was hard to choose between the prince
and unshakable things~

And then there is the sky~

You writing is lovely, and your picture is beautful~
