My Elegant Sunshine
(For Karilea)

In gray morn as we speak of our poetry,
A sweet ray of Sunshine beamed onto me.
With a glowing expression so reverent,
Her golden scepter deemed me "elegant".
How her radiance had warmed my heart.
Sunshine, I begged never allow my depart
From where the sun lights day and night-
The place where hearts gather to write.
With a promise she made in trust and deed:
“I hold lightly should you need be freed.”
But with a solemn oath to myself this day
From brilliant Sunshine, I shall not stray.

Karilea, thank you for being my guiding light.

Patricia~ You write kindly of her loving nature, and the nesting that is so very special when it comes to keeping all her ducks in a row.

On an honest note, speaking from another human standpoint, none of us are perfect. God forbid if we ever claimed to be. To me, that is ultimately what friends, and our Mother's are for, unconditionally.

Nicely said and done...hugs to you for this, and for bring out the *Sunshine*
