trapped under rocks
deep-pressed and moss-coated
by years of after-shock
coiling and uncoiling

crawling worm-like
meandering in a crater
formed by showers
meteorite-clad
that rained to celebrate
a certain love’s death:
martyred in a marquee
spray-painted in dark ash
colours of the night

with darkness
as a new-found friend
trading history in tales
remembering the embers
that flew in a brilliant dazzle
just before the crash
of the falling and the hit

brightest are the rays
of a star on its death-bed
particularly blood-like red
in the final act of violence
to leave behind an
energy-sapping hole
of conceited black

now, sitting with darkness
bright light gives fright
to these clouded eyes
for, always with light
walks its twin shadow

and then, the looming curtains
must accursedly fall
to obscure the stage
eclipsing the light
and drape the ethereal
by an eternally
twinned equinox:
both parts night

i am

I like the way use use the language

Jealously, I find myself hoping that English is your first language.

If not, I can't imagine your poetry in your native tongue.

Again, this is very nice

My friend, your comments warm my heart...

English, by the way is not my first language, but it is a language I studied in school... but it is my first choice of language to write in...

Many thanks for coming by..

regards,
sudhir
