Moved from a shack to a barn

I was born
Naked
Into the world

Covered
With the shroud of Lilith
That some would say portend
Portent

I’ve lived my life
As if in amniotic swim
Safely
Ensconced in the innocence
Of ignorance

And even now
I wear the gossamer veil
That obscures my vision
As well as my visage

So, I fear

That I will die
Naked
Without the cauling

Without a calling

there are nights when I wonder
what it would be like to crawl
around naked
in your mind

Live and let die, without givng into the fear.  You are going deeper still with every twist into your mind.

Leaves me pondering the wonder of it all!

Nice one swift~

I always like to read you. You  make me think and feel in a way that is inspiring.

quote:

The Caul is the delicate membrane that encases the fetus. In many cultures, to be born in an unbroken caul is to be marked as endowed with supernatural powers, or to bring luck.

Ed:

you far surpass this world . . .
your calling you have found
you just dont see it now - do you?

Look out your window - go ahead - look.
What is there?
ahhhh . . . I thought so . . .

A glimpse of yourself there indeed

This glimpse of you makes me feel
not so alone in this scary world
Your soul is speaking . . .

Brilliant display of self and your
surroundings - you paint magnificiently
thank you . . .

and have to lol @ Kacy up there
always can count on for a smile . . .

A brilliant write.
The first reply speaks for me.
Your calling must be to share this wonderful gift with the world. TD

All we bring to Death is all we grasped in life.

Great writing.  Thank you for sharing it.

You do not need eyes to see--you see with your heart, your mind and your poet's soul.

If you desireth the caul to be lifted, I shall do so with wave of my wand...

Perchance the cauling truly is the portent of your calling...

From beyond the beyond of which you know so well,
EA

Sometimes we have a calling we are unaware of.

hmmm...

Sometimes?

smile.

USUALLY, unaware.

As you know, Lilith is one of my favorite topics--but? we'll talk when ya have the time.

Hugs m'yeti monk.

You are a wonder.

I have never found
you in the embrace
of ignorance...

wise, yes...

knowledgeable...most assuredly...

a mentor?  Absolutely.

And even now
I wear the gossamer veil
That obscures my vision
As well as my visage

It seems to me you see much better then most, both inside yourself and out.

Awesome. Your writing is the cutting edge.
Enjoyed reading and thinking.
