Yearning Your Company Having one of those days Words will not flow Emotions caught between Neither high nor low While finding the balance As the moods swing Words caught in the throat I cannot write a thing I wish I could surge ahead Find words to express From a standstill situation In someway progress By looking into the matter While awaiting insight I should keep a low profile Until I am able to write Silence leaves me hollow I yearn your company Where depths of devotion Longs to flow in unity Uplifting this heart of mine Reinstate with harmony The language of friendship With soulmate repartee Hope ©2003 |
