Music upon the
battlefield, symphony in
the clash of metal

The flash of a sword
unsheathed, as lightning in the
hand of angry god

Once I'd found honour
in this, the way of the sword
I know better now

With every stroke
the lives I took were my own
how many are left?

In the waning sun
I stand alone stained by my
impetuousness

*5 senryus stand as one

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

The battle cry
has just begun
clash of sword
rings true
I knew
the look
the glint of steel
blood fresh on face
a stain of grace
music streaming
soul screaming
for something new

Dear knight
lay down your sword
rest your mind
your weary load
place your brow
within my hands
let me wash
your spirit free
understand your place
your heart and face
armor tinged
arduous escape
from fight within

To you my lace
I freely give
and water fresh
for you to live
until the dawn
the next display
a brand new sun
then dying day

Warm your feet
and rest your mind
by fire ablaze
and silent shroud
of resilent wings
wrapped and bound
upon - around
you now

Dear Knight
hush . . .
eyes closed
silence . . .
the only sound

Raph - this is quite an amazing display
of honor in itself - your words . . .
the five spillings . . .
of your soul
fresh paint  . . .
truly brilliant
you wear this armor
like second skin, my friend
the battle is long and you are weary
sometimes it is good to bleed
amazing me yet again
as you always seem to do

YOUR pen IS mightier than the sword.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
