Hush baby don’t you cry,
come to me and tell me why,
why tears run down your cheeks
what make you so sad tonight
when I haven’t seen you for weeks,
is there so way I can make it right?

Whisper to me beneath the tears
tell me the sadness and all the fears
let my arms wrap you to me
steady the sobbing and the shakes
all I know is what my eyes see
your sadness as a heart now breaks.

Tell me,
let me help you
Tell me,
what can I do?

Well,
I listen all the time
I’ve even been known to stop and smell the flowers
afterall flowers are for smelling
and friends are for listening to

Caring words--sweetly and gently expressed.
