I Will Miss

I will miss
The palate of autumn across the waters edge
The touch of a breeze skipping across my face
The sound of music coming from treetops

I will miss
The anger felt when life is not fair
The sadness of knowing a moment recognized
  is a moment gone
Discovering that there is often more than one truth

I will miss
The simple gift of another's presence
The taste of a ripe strawberry and a sun nourished
  orange
The blessing of a child's smile

I will miss
My dog's tender tongue expressing pure affection
The opportunity to make something out of nothing
I will miss all the precious things I have taken
  for granted

and in the end
I will miss remembering...

Oh,  I like those lines very much...
Indeed,  there is so much to miss
when taken for granted.

Really nice writing SG~

Beautiful,  very much so.  Makes a person
pause,  think of all they will as well.

It is all about the precious little things we take for granted isn't it?
I love this for its simply reminder of things that we let pass us by.

Enchantress,

Yes, it is about reminding ourselves that this life is a gift. I have been acutely aware of this in recent days.

I send you and everyone here at Pip good wishes for health, happiness and most important, peace of mind.

Hugs,
SG

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Electra, this is so broadly true, sweet friend, we fail to realize exactly how we cherish these simple pleasures but how we forget them all at the same instance, and regret becomes a barometer that only applies more pressure until we realize how much it hurts! (sigh) You speak with such truth, sweet friend, I'm so happy you're back, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Electra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shien upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
