I feel alone,
Numbness goes through me,
Nowhere to turn,
When will I learn,

I’m not the person I want to be,
Everyone is just using me,
Why don’t I just stop life,
And start again,
But I’m not brave enough,
But I’m not strong enough,
To do it, do it on my own,

I live life in a box,
Behind closed doors,
Beyond these walls I see nothing,
I see nothing at all,

I’m not the person I want to be,
Everyone is just using me,
Why don’t I just stop life,
And start again,
But I’m not brave enough,
But I’m not strong enough,
To do it, do it on my own,

This is not right,
I can’t get used to this,
Life is supposed to be a great journey,
But I’ve now realized it’s not for me,

I’m not the person I want to be,
Everyone is just using me,
Why don’t I just stop life,
And start again,
But I’m not brave enough,
But I’m not strong enough,
To do it, do it on my own,

I’m not the person I want to be,
Everyone is just using me,
Why don’t I just stop life,
And start again,
But I’m not brave enough,
But I’m not strong enough,
To do it, do it on my own.

Don't worry, everything should look up soon.

Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those who have stuck by you.

Oh, but you are strong enough.  Your strength will come from the desire to become the person you want to be.  Tear down the walls, climb out of the box, and be!  And forget those users in your life.  Go out there and be the person you were meant to be.

I felt your pain here.  This was very moving for me.  There was a time when I felt this way...long ago and far away.

I hope this helps,
Please take care,
-Patricia

What a strong yearning in your words.
Yet as Rumi reminds us...what we yearn for...yearns for us.
Your words show your strength and beauty...even in their tender expressions.

Hockey, just know that we are here for you...

And we can hear the sadness in your heart...

Many of us, have had these feelings before...

But together, we have, and can continue to help each other work them out...

You may not realize it, but your poem, may have already made someone feel like, they are not alone...

Bless You Hockey,

And please stay in touch, OK?

A Friend,

Richy

FlyingCloud, I hope it all gets better sooner then later.

Patricia, All I've been feeling lately is pain, thank you for your kind words and concern.

Eric, Thank you for your kind words. I wish I wish I could have the same amout of strength in me as what comes out when I write.

Carol, I'm glad you enjoyed this piece.

QjQ, You're absolutely right. I'm glad you enjoyed this poem.

Richy, I feel this sadness may never go away, but with the help of my friends and everyone here I know it can be eased.

Passing Shadows, I know we all have at some point in our lives.

Thank you everyone,
~Kelly~
