Reaching, stretching...
hands entwined,  out into
the darkness, as countless stars
shine brightly.

Tracing lightly, a delicate finger
outlines the smallest crescent of
what before had been a lover’s
moon..

Quiet falls all around as a hush
transcends a meadow to but an
extension of the heavens above.

Giggling, stifling the urge to
release an animal instinct....
as a shadow creeps slowly,
ever steadily toward
completeness....being one...

As animals sense fear, passions
are drawn from the edge of night.
Toes trace the grasses, flowers
trace ears....A light sip of the
vine’s nectar brings forth
the most delicate kiss....

....as the eclipse peaks....
a Loon calls the still of night
and eyes dance the night
as lovers laugh and howl
to a Howling Moon....

Wonderful write Barry!!
Especially love the part above.
I missed it as it was very cloudy here..
Hope you had a better glimpse.

beautiful, even if I never got to see it, your words painted a beautiful picture for me, Barry.

How well written, the passions of the lover's moon...eclipsed in the negligee of a moment in time.

Barry,

This is gorgeous. I reread it for the full impact.  The imagery, terrific!

Enjoyed greatly,

a very loving write and well written,

as the lone wolf cries for his mate with his song of love.

It matters not how you answer, It matters only that i hear you.
