Eclipse

tonight the night
plays in darkness
isolated moon invisible
veiling song unsung
and even obscured
you pull at me
in your quilted black
strung to your tide
my soul in dance
drawn to your tune
each note difficult
yet expression so clear
you move me
you still move me

And on an eclipse of the moon too! You know...you move me with your writing. Well done as usual.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
