You know Marge..when I heard this on the news this morning..
I thought that Margie girl would have a beauty of a poem regarding this happening..
And here you are..I was not disappointed!
THIS is splendid!!

Although it is overcast and rainy here..
I'm hoping it will clear in time for the show!

Dear Marge:  This is as spectacular as the eclipse itself!!  I so wanted to see it, but we are socked in with clouds today and the weathermen say it will carry through the night! I'm going to look, on the chance there might be a break and the moon will be visible!

Hi Marge, I heard about it on the news last
night, but it's raining here right now. I hope
it stops before the eclipse happens. I love to
watch the moon.
this poem is beautiful, as well as the
picture and the way you wrote it on the picture.
Hugs,
Ethel

Dang! We are expecting a thunderstorm here any minute, and it's doubtful we will see anything but God's fury.

Hi Marge ... We tried to see it last night, but sadly, due to heavy cloud cover, MA was unable to view her beauty. I did see a live shot from the mid-west, but would love to have seen her up close and personal.

There is another eclipse in November, if we're not in heavy 'snow cover.'

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful picture and poem with us.

Friends~
I don't know when I've enjoyed 'dressing-up' a piece more than I did this one~
I appreciate the kindness of each comment.

The cloud cover was here ... but parted for about 8 minutes so that I was able to see that copper glow in all her petticoated glory~
Thank you all~

Marge,

Unfortanately, I missed the sky last night.  I imagine it was an amazing sight.
Even though, I was sleepless too
With four year old who gave me the flu.
So, Marge, I say a giant thank you!
I saw the eclipse through the eyes of you.

What are extraordinary artist you are.

A beautiful picturesque write, Marge

And now, I know why I've come across now, the 3rd post about an eclipse...
