I am the last Rose of Summer,
the early Rose of Spring,
the brilliant Rose of Autumn,
the snow white Rose of Winter.

I am a Rose ready
to be picked,
ready to be delighted in.

I have come into full bloom,
my stem rid of all
of its many thorns.
I dwell in the midst of the Ivy,
beside a blooming, Hydrangea bush.

Growing up towards your heart,
my Rose essence filling
your senses with pleasure.

I am the Rose who remains,
despite the many pranks
of the seasons.
I am a Rose whose beauty
may not be seen
except with the Eye
of the True Gardener.
