My eyes are drooping,
my day's been long
before I know it
tonight will be gone.
Tomorrow, I'll be waiting
anxious, you know
'cause I'm meeting the Blue one
in Serenade glow.

I'll think in the passing
of words that I've read,
of those of you here
that will be in my head.
Knowing when we return
we will share in this blue
our times of together
a serenade, overdue.

M

nakdthoughts - your eyes don't droop at all, not the ones that I saw. And tell Blue I said hi...

I often return
to these shades of blue
and read all your writings
so heartfelt and true.
I may not always respsond,
but I am here just the same
...in the shades of blue.

Thank you for sharing.
