Every morning
I climb a mountain
of deficiencies

I throw myself off
to catch a feel
of wind in wings

But all I've felt
is jagged rock
and broken bone

Yes, I can relate to this. Seems I try to take flight and feel light as air each day...but my shortcomings have a way of oiling my wings. Such is life I suppose. Good write - enjoyed. Chris

I guess we are all looking to feel that wind...we are such gluttons for punishment, aren't we?

Raph,

Well, I am lazier than you, I don't bother with the climb, I just wallow in it sometimes. They say acceptance is everything, huh?

Grins for your talent of getting across feelings in so few words, though one never knows the reality of the write, heart hugs to you.

I so enjoy your work.

Pat

You can't fall if you never climb. I think its the possibly of falling that drives us.

More padding, less lead...bigger wings

You certainly can say an awful lot in

And by the way MISTER, I told ya that you were 'exotic.'

Strut your stuff Mr. Italian Canuck Aussie   But, ewwwww don't be like those T.O. Guido guys cruising down Young Street in a white camaro with a satin polyester shirt open at the top accompanied by a goldtone eagle chain getting all tangled in your italian chewbacca chest hair

...okay so I've had too much caffine tonight...and as your manager, I must torment   Just ask Balladeer, that poor dude hehe "Sanity bores me"

Between the opening of the wings and the rock you hit ....there is that space where you should linger, the feel of the flight, it's a question of taking the right current ..... the current of trust!
