A Walk in the Park We strolled along the winding path holding hands And keeping in step with each other as one The birds were singing high in the tree tops. A bunny hopped away so softly and the squirrel sat in the tree, watching us stroll by, so carefree Your eyes were sparkling, oh, so bright A smile was beaming from cheek to cheek. As we approached the winding creek, we see a frog peeping from a lily pad. A fish leaps up to catch a fluttering bug, startling the frog, And he leaps to a fallen tree where your sitting, startling you, As you leap up into my arms, with such force, we stumble to the soft grass, laying there looking up at the sky so blue. We kissed and knew that it was true love we had for each other It matters not how you answer, It matters only that i hear you. |
