We’re puppets to this music that the pen and paper make
We dance amidst its melody and calling in partake
Then close our eyes to chorus, which does sing in pure delight
Cocooned in self and voices that keep singing through the night

Amiss of creature callings as the sirens lure more
To sing with so much beauty and a way that I adore
To summon all my feelings and the passions that I hold
To dance with pen and paper so the sighted may behold

Floating on the aura, on the wave to heaven’s shore
So warmed by inner company and voice from evermore
Reflective and in ponder of the past and future’s glance
As pen and paper join as one and do the poet’s dance

BC, thank you for your reply here, may we all dance this dance for many a time.

Joe, I can't say I dance in the physical level too often myself and when I do it is not good, may you pen dance with the paper often, thanks for the reply, it is much appreciated.

Sincerely
Rick

Great symbolism...
There was a waltz in melody with this one.

Rick, this is absolutely beautiful.
I love the way you rhyme. It's all so
pretty, but this I really liked this
"poet's dance"......

Floating on the aura, on the wave to heaven’s shore
So warmed by inner company and voice from evermore
Reflective and in ponder of the past and future’s glance
As pen and paper join as one and do the poet’s dance
