searching for my Zen

in seeking enlightenment

it's not where I thought

umbilical cord to soul

who would have dreamed it was there

I know nothing of Tankas, and very little of Zen.

But, I do know the quest for enlightenment.
This would be a part of it, huh?

Ed, tanka is a 5-7-5-7-7 syllable form.
Zen, well, that takes a bit more of an explanation. Just be you...here and now...in this very moment.
kaile,, you're welcome, and thanks for the inspire
Eric, thanks, friend.
Nan, what a pleasure to have a reply from your quill!

Kacy:

Seeing the small
is called Clarity.
Keeping flexible
is called Strength.
Using the shining radiance
you enter the Light,
where no harm can come to you.

This is called Enlightenment.

- Lao Tsu
