Grains of Love

We walked hand in hand
...along the beach.

Two people amid the antiquity of time
...measured by pebbles and sand.

She asked how long would I love her
...not sure of my answer.

I reached down and picked up a rounded gray stone
...placing it in her hand.

"My love for you today will be as strong...
when sand is all that's left of this stone."
       ...I said quietly.

believe in what your heart feels...

Scorpio, a beautiful honest answer to her question.
I love this as it is exquisite in its simplicity...
Born from a sincere question..an answer of deep devotion.
She certainly is one lucky woman.
Very nicely penned with the perfect accompanying picture.

very nice, this poem evoked serene images as I read it. The picture served as a theme throughout. I liked to imagine myself as the persona while I read your poem.

Scorpio,
This is absolutely beautiful.
Exactly like the beautiful words that
my Love writes for me. I know that your Love
treasures your words as much as I treasure the
words of my Love. Thank you for sharing your heart.
Hugs,
Ethel
