Lovely image. Lovely words! I really think that the lady in the image is really in love with her special person!

I wish I would have lived in that period of time to wear those clothes LOL, but there still would be malls, cel phones, and planes, trains, and automobiles - yes, I know, wishful thinking.   In my next life I will be there I just know I will.  Yes, I will report this last statement to my therapist.   thanks for reading.

(smiles) Oh Sharon, this is beautiful, this made me tear up as I still wait to sweep my dream girl off her feet as I can only imagine the frustration she must have to go through waiting for me, that is, if I have a special someone! (big hugggssssss) This is very gorgeous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Brought to mind the plaintive songs of the sea...

Old traditonal tunes that spoke of "widows walks"

She heaved a sigh
while the tears did fall
"For my dark-eyed sailor"

"For my dark-eyed sailor"
So young and stout and tall

Been seven long years
since he left this land
A ring...He took
From his lily-white hand

one half of the ring
is still here with me
but, the other is roamin'

Roamin', at the bottom
of the sea.

This song though, has a happy ending.

I did a painting similar to this, but I had the waiting lady looking out to sea! Now I know what she looks like!

Thank you!

Warm hugs,
Linda
