In your heart a poem unwritten,
Are emotions with no voice.
To write them out for all to see,
Becomes the poet’s choice.

Some write with a message,
That is really quite profound,
Others write love sonnets
Soon to be leather bound.

Love, hope and forgiveness,
Are written to touch a heart,
Tying knots of friendship
That cannot be torn apart.

Some will write to the lonely
To let them know they care,
Guiding them through darkness
To the light from their despair.

There is magic in written poetry
It goes straight to the reader’s heart,
I compare it to what music does
When listening to Mozart.

If you have a poem unwritten
Will you set your poem free?
Inside your soul live the words
To connect to the heart of me.

Its too bad this one comes to late for the latest book, it sums up so well the gifts of poetry and the inspirations & friendships found here in Pips.
Wonderful writing poetess Sharon.
I've A LOT of unwritten poems...perhaps me moody moth muse needs to read this

You're the best I've ever felt ...
it's so wrong not to be with you.
It's getting harder to stay away,
it stops my heart just to be with you.

Thank you all three of you, and perhaps I can save it for the next book.  I thought of this after of course.  But how true, sometimes I think my words are certainly nothing compared to some but they are important to me, and I have to remember that and share them.  Thanks again.

A "must read" not only for every poet, writer, and anyone else who has has something creative to share...

But for everyone, in general...

Thank you for sharing this with us Mysteria...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sharon, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I always believe each one of us has a special voice to share and no ones is more valid than any others! (kiss on cheek) I do what I can by all means necessary to write the poem out, and I have written many poems I have never posted because I don't want them posted but always go back and revise them until I want to finally share them! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
