I shot an arrow into the air
Without plans and with out care
It fly arching over the trees
That swayed with the gentle breeze
I wander the woods all the day
No worry to what was the way
Through the brush on the stone
Going carefree going alone
There within the wood’s shadow
I came upon my shot arrow
It had come to final rest
In a robin’s red breast
I shoot no more arrows into the air
Knowing not where they will fare.
