To Find

I’ve ground the stone to gravel
Peeled the stark by unravel
Sifted winds for songs of the birds
Yet I still cannot find the words.

I have roared and I have grumble
Walked the path of the humble
Whispered to the stars on high
Yet to myself I cannot lie.

I cannot say I’ve found the way
Nor an oasis to stay
Nor can I lift the mist of dawn
Without the help of light of morn

Torment whips my knightly horse
Yet still I cannot find a course
And though I charge the nightly foe
I cannot see a light or glow.

Dup a light, a candle please
And cup it against the breeze.

I had to look up the dictionary for dup... and I am glad I opened it...

you write rhymes with such ease that I can only dream of... and even in dreams those are difficult

love your work, Seymour, my friend...

Well, I have to say my friend that you sure are good at using words to describe how you can't find the words
I like how you've left this one open to the reader's perception to form his/her own images.
Excellent write my dear friend!

Tame that strong and mighty steed
For I'll be by your side indeed
To serve you with peach jam and toast
Relax and enjoy, my morning host!

love this one Seymour, hugs, Chris

I've counted stones yet unborn
from the sea formed shell of horn
I've counted nights in shy of day
and giddied thought within your say

for you never fail to talk of heart
for in wise your words impart
that which goes before us all
now invite Randy to our Ball...

If candlelight should yield to breeze
You would still find your way with ease
For Sy, dear friend, where e're you go
You cast a most ethereal glow
The wisdom deep inside you hath
The light you need upon your path

So never worry 'bout a breeze
Your bright light needs no batteries!

(sigh) Sometimes I think there we are not meant to find our way, we just follow our intuition! (big hugggssssss) Seek the Middle Way in your vision, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
