As I ready for rest
  ending another day
  the end of another test
  that daily comes my way
I need to ease my sword
rest it where it may lay
amongst thy heart and mead poured
  feast upon you, and stay

Thy armour, thick as steel
  heavy  as its heart held
  for protection I must feel
  before our hearts can weld
Give me this night to free
  demons I fight each day
  so together we may be
each night that comes our way

Fear is a blindness, heart is the cure.   -   C. Belville 02
