Could I know with any certainty the destination of this dream?
Then perhaps the whistling miles would be thicker than they seem
Then perhaps the narrow canyons that have been so hard to walk
Could I know there is an outcome to this venture that I stalk?

And perhaps as May arrives on the winds of gales might
Then again to clear the clouds away and keep the sun in sight
Could I know what guides the wisdom of the choices to be made?
Then perhaps as May arrives, impatience soothed on summer’s blade

Then again would something different have detoured the path in front?
Could I see the steps more clearly to the outcome that I want?
Could there be another morning that would clear my mind again?
Could I know with any certainty the victory till then?

Lots of perhaps...and what ifs....and
a ton of hope to carry them to their
destination in the decisions of life..

Nicely done Kay...

TD, as always, very enjoyable and insightful...

Destination’s certainty comes hardly for a dream
The obstacles put forth ahead are more then most would deem
Choices at the crossroads always leave us with misdoubt
Leave some crumbs of bread behind in case the bridge is out...

Take Care,

Richy

Your whispered ponderances carry on the winds and into the minds and hearts of your readers...

Warm hugs,
Linda
