 Mother and child by Mary Cassat As Mother and Father you acted in deep faith, never questioning or doubting your strength. You were ready to give your life to defend me, your gift, your child. You asked my Angel to stay by my side while you worked hard he was my guide. All and everything I was to you, a reason to live through sadness too. You were the sunshine that never faded away You taught me kindly that Love was the way. You still shine bright deep within my soul, you fill me with Love You are here, I know!
