When we touched under the watchful eye of the sun
I knew something special had begun
as I wrapped your body with my arms
I knew I found someone I wanted to hold on to

We danced to the music of lovers
I got lost in your eyes as you lit a fire in me
no one had ever made me feel this way
I no longer had the desire to be free

The music ended but our dance did not
I held you against me, close as to can get
you ran your fingers through my hair
I thought I had gone to heaven when we kissed

Such a sweet taste, the lightning hot sensations
that wreaked havoc on my body and mind,
taking my legs out from under me
making me tremble from the inside out

I found a reason to live that day
You gave me my life back
You gave me a place to belong
You taught me how to love

Now I just want to say
one thing that I can’t seem to say enough
I love you

Aw, hope you gave this one to her.

"I held you against me, close as to can get"
BTW, was this to have read 'two' instead of to?

Oh, this is so precious.

And this the dead giveaway as to how true love works:

"I no longer had the desire to be free"

Love this,

Hugs, Pat

Looks like the life inside your world is doing very nicely these days.  I am soooooo happy for you dear friend.  Now watch as the world lays unfurled before the two of you, step out, go and enjoy your lives.

Best Wishes Always Alan!

Aww. That says a lot of things I've thought before. And worded so originally. Nice work.
