Unfolding

I wander in this night
It’s so rare that I speak
that I dare
these words
these meanings
these longings...

My chaos of thought
my ordered world of fear
the once restless voice
of my muse,
who dares to desert me
a whimpered whisper now.

I demand its attention
there’s no romance tonight
a sonnet I have not
those fourteen lines I crave
and no final couplet written,
for my lack of you...

Am I now the writer of once,
or was, a genius of nothing
in the glory of silent pages
the author of invisible ink
my book of empty poems
a colossal work
a colossal work

There is a roaring sound advancing
in the tides of the sea
in the recesses of a mind
and in this fog I await it
these waves of words
that will sail you to me...

and a new story will unfold.

Have you seen the movie "Adaptation"?  As I read what you have wrote I think of Nic Cage's character struggling, struggling, to find the write mix of words he has in his mind.  That's what I picture.  As you think, and think some more, the final picture of what you're trying to say slowly comes into focus.  Excellent!

(smiles) And as all the new words spew out on the shores, all it takes is putting them together as every ebb has a tendency to give us all we need but just shake it all up like a Yahtzee cup! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Ah! Somehow I just knew there was a Park poem floating around. I could feel it.

Still sailing, still sailing.

Hmmm.
