Cage of Taunts
Matt Keach

Come taste this.
You appreciate it for what it is.
Me?
Go back and provide this theatre
Bound to watch though it sizzles my smile
Life?
How callous you are, rigid and sharp.
How frigid you are, with malice playing the platinum harp.
Reflect?
Come close the shackle on the cage of taunts
to strike me down to nightmares that haunt
Same?
Go leave and get on with this spectacle of sadism
Smite me left and right with imagined lips and glassy eyes
Stop?

I know its been said but its like screaming.

Life can sometimes be depressing....
It often seems sadistic to me too!!!!
Enjoyed!!!!
