Suspicions that there’s no niche for me
Have become my belief
I search for attitude improvement
But I find no relief

So I now hold a one way ticket
To a world lacking light
A brief glimpse forth is more than enough
To fold my knees with fright

Yet still I board a downward spiral
Where there’s no place to hide
Perhaps a few speed bumps might save me
But someone waxed the slide

Werk?

LOL...ah gal,
I had to chuckle at the last,
just when I was beginning to say
oh how sad!

You jerked a giggle!

I just fluffed up my aura and wings and I'm comin' to save ya darlin'! I'll be there faster than you can say Deuterotomy!

Ruth,

This one, in spite of the wax job, put a tear in my eye.

Thinking of you, heart hugs and love,

Pat

Ouch!

Had times like that, yes a few, where your biggest entertainment is watching to see how bad it'll get....

Well written -- can't say I enjoyed the poem, but did relish the way you captured such an unenjoyable feeling. Some things ain't to be enjoyed!

SweetSuthernGal~
Well, you're certainly 'waxing' poetic in this piece~

Better come join me on the merry-go-round ...

now what's poetic about THAT ?
