Elusive Prince

I shall forget now
how once you laid your head
against my weary breast
crashing your waves into my ocean
flat belly rolled of Neptune's skin,
leaving me with hope, mechanism to cope
in make-believe and fairytales.

My little girl world is shattering
like panes of broken glass,
each shard thrusts deeper, jagged tears
leaving me with only an ache for my heart.

But, I must remember
that the doorway to heaven
is also the gate to hell.

This is sort of hard to picture in your particular case.....but beautifully conceived and written. Glad I stopped by.

(big hugggsssssss) Depending on if you're looking up laying down or standing still, up does not always lead back down! (sigh) This is powerfully heartaching, sweet friend, I hope all is well with you, I send healing hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Melissa, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Gosh,  could feel those shards....  Such
beauty in the words written of a tragedy.

Perhaps the Prince will not remain so
elusive??  I surely hope so...
