~**~ How well the kindle shares us As I open to your meadow, no longer lost Astonished at myself, amidst the trembled leaves The last thing to be thought of My feelings as my only shield Served warm to blossom in your hand There seems to be a lustrous thread And often when I close my eyes, it is for you An undelivered kiss recited to the wind The only purpose to be found A spread unguarded to be knelt Simple gifts, a penny for your thoughts And yet, ensnared I trip the wires Without a doubt to leave the ground For that is where the blind is hidden An un-relinquished spell The final resting in my heart Speechless, the fall that colors all By now, the question that remains unsaid As I walk within your steps still warm Beside the lake, a private space And I no longer fear the depths Each visiting so timelessly pristine Filled, in drops of you, the sea of me Copyright Kkh 5/7/03 |
