Yesterday's Model

Making my heart ache she applied the
brakes after easing back on the throttle.

The process now complete of choosing me and
using me until I became yesterday's model.

And me in desperation hold onto spent kisses
and remnants of happiness and caring.

Hoping that the memory of tender moments
we shared will sustain me until I can recover
and fit myself into the arms of a new lover.

All things end, but even in uncerstanding this it is painful to feel disposable.

Thank you for sharing this
