You played laughter on my skin Each smile slid slowly across the exposed To tickle places long covered And make them squirm To see sun again… Upturned lips spread in split of mine Leaving me to feel the giggle You bubbled inside Until I could stand no more Without my own I begged you… Humor me again That I might slip off these lines And fall into the depths of mischief Dancing in your eyes Speaking softly You told me the joke inside And left me sputtering Stuttering As I tried to hide…. But you Laughed And with it knew You’d win Showing me my own Joy within |
