A Friend I want you to know that I'm glad we met And to thank you for being a friend I found on the net We shared stories both good and bad We shared several things that we had We fell apart because of certain reasons And then I had to go and act out stupidly But no matter how it turned out I'm glad that I met the greatest person without doubt I'm glad that things turned out for you And that your life has gone on with time I just want you to know that I'll never forget you For you were the best friend I needed at that time You have my love for a lifetime. |

Well, for what it's worth, your poem has won you at least one friend. I really liked the ending. |

This piece surely does come from the heart - and the heart of the net offers wonderful friendships to us, doesn't it? Nicely said, CountryGal.. |

A friend of the road came along at a time in your life when that was what you needed. How wonderful for you! Letting go can be painful, but more friends are on their way! Healing hugs, Earth Angel |

CountryGal, Sigh...what a wonderful poem! This is so touching and beautiful. But it sounds to me like like you speak no more If that is so, perhaps if you send your friend this lovely poem, who knows? Afterall, why should such a friendship have to end? Country Gal, this is a really nice poem. You've come to the right place to make a lot more friends, too, here amongst the great big Family of Friends at PIP. Everyone here is so great and loving. Oh, and maybe you should e-mail this poem to your other friend that you wrote it about. Hugs, Ethel |
