I am not
a stray cat
whom you place
your stinking foot upon
for stroking purposes,
expecting to induce
an emotional high
by the mere fact of
your attentiveness

Slap you!

this stray
has its standards,

never mind the tiny fact
that it is purring for more

Love introspection, especially when it is done with vision and humor! Excellent!

Kaile,

About time you came back. Love this.
Such talent you have. Can't help but smile.

Haha!!! I like the irony in this... Such a proud, indignant stray huh? What is pride when you can get all the strokes in the world?

ROTFLMAO...this is a great poem.  A very big clap to u and I'll be reading heaps more of your things.

I asked God how much he loved me...
He said this much...
And streched out his arms and Died.
