This is a picture I took of one of my favourite garden statues in my backyard

* * * *

Can I make a difference
As I take my pen and write
Through my words I feel uplifted
Like a graceful bird in flight

Can I communicate with you
Without saying a single word
Will my words be loud enough
And will my heart be heard

Can I hold your hand in friendship
And stay close to your side
I feel we share a special bond
In me you always can confide

Can I reach into your heart
And touch your inner soul
For this would surely please me
And would help fulfil my goal

These words come from my heart
And enable you to see
Way down deep inside my soul
Into the core of what is me

* * * *

"Love alone is capable
of uniting human beings
in such a way as to
complete and fulfil them,
for it alone takes them
and joins them by what
is deepest in themselves"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue:  you do make a difference in a broader spectrum than you could ever know, just with your words, which are beautiful...

Wonderful wonderful poem Suetang...

You have an interesting name by the way!

I really liked the question and message of your poem...

I hope you don’t mind, but I was inspired by your writing...

And I hope it is received as it was meant to be,
merely as a compliment, and more
importantly...

In the spirit of friendship...

You Just Did

I would like to think it matters
sometimes when we write
Words can make imaginations
reach their highest height

More is said within a verse
then some may speak all day
Sometimes even just the wind
has quite a bit to say

We have fundamental feelings
that make us unique
Needs to form relationships
is what our spirits seek

The want to move and touch
a person in the deepest sense
The wish to break past through
the walls and over any fence

So if you’re still wondering if
you matter, this I’d bid
Not only do I think you do
I think that you just did

Blessings,

Richy
