There I lie
dying on the vine?

Wrinkled red rose petal scent
of what once was
and will never be again
lingers . . .

Water never tasted so good

Sometimes the after taste is bittersweet,
wine and roses make for a pretty song, but it's the vine that clings and wraps around the sun,  that ripens the fruit for years to come.

Love your work tweets~

Drink up, littlewing! A beauteous rose needs to moisturize from the inside out as well as from the outside in!

Healing hugs and a cupfull of dew drops...
