Donning scarves
Lightly shutting out the dark
When you whispered,
“Let me teach you Braille.”

I was eager to be an apt
Student,
Though little did I know
I would grade you
With an A.

(chuckling) was that an A for adept or for A**.....

evokes subtle sensuality... nicely done

(smiles) An apple a day keeps the doctor away, and this sure proves that learning does have its own rewards and satisfications! (big hugggssssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I hate to just say "great job" and then leave you.  I feel a poet deserves more than that.  So, in response to your poem I'm going to say that you faithfully (yeah that's the right word) captured the relationship between a student and instructor who really cares.  Your poem, to me, is a tribute to those who survive on faith.  That's special.

Something about this touches me on a couple of different levels. Its too hard to explain, but I think it has something to do with being taught braille..just gives me an inspiration for something else. Okay..enough babbling. I love this.

You could hurt me with your bare hands. You could hurt me using the sharp edge of what you say. JEWEL
