I Let Go

you are one man
that I will never forget

not one feeling or word
shall I ever regret

letting go of something
is a struggle of breath I drew

hearts have problems letting
something slip, they are attached to

your good bye is leaving
me tangled up inside

I run but empty spaces
have nothing to hide

I am weary, I can not fight
no more words of protest

as acid eats me
I let go, as you request
