Enveloped in warmth, hidden away; sharing pure glimpses of heaven with friends. Time vacates this impossible day, For beauty to drown us with all that it sends. Nature to guide us, singing in smiles; Memories floating on soft stars of light; Laughter to tell us these dreams run for miles, Ebbing away on the tide of this night. |

August does have an ambience all its own... 'Tis a special month to be thoroughly enjoyed - after June & July, yes? This is a lovely piece indeed... |

All of my best memories are in August for some reason. I must admit there is something special about this month. To me, it seems the whole world just slows down, takes a breath of warm air, and gets ready for the coming months. It's like the "coffee-break" month or something. Great writing. |
