Web and Ebb

Time has caught me in its web
And now my flood has turned full ebb.
Memories full of prim and clean
Have turned into a dusty lean.

And where the sun did offer light
It now dips down and offers night
I only see moons lantern glow
Reflections of a time of grow.

And in the moonlight I can see
The flood that carries prodigy
Past the hosts of leaving ghosts
Full of roar and promised boasts

Familiar are the songs it sings
Familiar are the boasts it brings
Familiar is the flood of tide
Familiar is the earths abide.

I wish you well new seeds of spring
I’m sure each life will seed a king.

Yes, you will see your poem to grow
For you're our Seymour with rhyme just so
Always here with a morning smile
Making us want to stay a while

Goodmorning, Seymour.....
It seems when I read you first thing in the mornings, my day goes a little brighter.I hope that you have a very sunshiney day today, even if it does rain.
Hugs,
Ethel

I'm up and at 'em early Sy!
But I still can't be as early as you in the morn.
Enjoying my cuppa while reading your perfect rhyming.
Not to worry...I saved you some.
~Morning Hugs, Nancy~

~Somewhere in my heart I'm always
dancing with you in the summer rain~

Yep, I know a Web and Ebb, a couple of brothers farming down on the Ninnescah.  Saw 'em out plantin' just the other day.

Good day to you Mr. Tabin. Enjoyed the poem.

(please ignore the intro, it often takes a bit for the brain cells to re-engage every morning)

Mine eyes blue turned red with misty dew as I perused your timeless mots, O Sagacious One!----and my nose started to drip!--Seriously speaking!

You wrote a timeless masterpiece and I would like to give it a loving home in my personal library of poems that have affected me deeply.

genuflecting and blowing you
a kiss,

EA

When I read the title I thought you'd written about a couple of hillbillies called Webb and Ebb.....But you're way too classy a poet as this poem bespeaks of you.....excellent stuff!

(sigh) Sometimes you just have to get stuck so you can behold! (big hugggssssss) In a lovely spring like this there's reason to believe the next able king has advocated his throne, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
