some people really like this poem, it's not my favorite but I would like to share it with you.
a true cynic reveals his own faults, a rarity indeed.

Cynics and Knives

Quit being so negative.
You got the hang of it
To distract from your faults.
Now you slouch, pouring salt
On wounds freshly opening.
Hoping that no one sees
Your own scars start to bleed.
And in time you find
That it’s hard to heal
From a life on the knife,
With a mouthful of steel.
