I'll take the mediocrity special
Please
My plate isn't full
24 oz bloody slabs of it
dripping in the pangs
of dying dream.
Busting my clown pants
Glued to this metal chair

All you can gorge
Flashing neon
above one way door
Check your soul
With the cashier
You won't need it anymore

Grab your shovel
There's plenty
For all
Don't mind the rat poison
Only makes it better

"Hotel California"
plays on the jukebox
As I fall into to sleep
forever
In a plate of rotting meat

Now, that is what I'd call a real "Feel Good" poem!--NOT!!!  LOL  My goodness, you certainly can take me places that I do not want to go!---but I always find it a fascinating journey!

Love & Light,
EA

I like it, very modern. I wouldn't write something like this, but you wrote it well.
