.
.

To-day it rained.

Like the skies had
opened up their patio doors
and persuaded heaven's tears
to join in matrimony
with the salty droplets
that refused to cease
spilling from my dispirited eyes.
The bloated, offending clouds
dried up with envy
of this surreal union,
and a blazing sun appeared
just long enough
to paint a rainbow
with the fervent colours
flowing like ribbons
from my melting heart.

To-day it rained

Chris...Intense feeling...like a cloudburst.  Not easy to say so much in a few words, but you managed to, and do it well.

(smiles) There should always be times like these when we are rejuvenated, cleansed yet again, and feel exactly how such miracles of life can simply do their doing upon us! (kiss on cheek) Yay, I can't wait for more rain here, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shien upon you!

I only play outside at night or when it rains; I love both times.  I like this poem a lot.  Thank you for sharing it.

Wow, the heavens wanted to share in your sadness...

Well, I’m glad they also sent you a colored bridge, to show you the connection you both have...

Nightshade, you, and your poem, were heaven sent...
