To touch a face of utter grace
Of beauty’s cast and making
To be at one with God and son
Does leave the heart near breaking

To feel once whole with mind and soul
In moments time or hour
Does feed the seed of want and need
To bud with peace and flower

To share some time with word and rhyme
To ponder thought and way
Does offer free to world from me
The things that fill my day
