Take Flight I saw a bald eagle take off in flight Man was it a beautiful sight It made me wish I had wings to fly I would take a deep breath and spread them wide Then soar through the sky I know where I would fly Up to see your smiling face And give you a warm embrace I would love to see that look on your face That look like you couldn't believe that I made it I bet it would look so comical, your face Because you never thought that I would do it But you didn't realize that I yearned for this This time to be here by your side You didn't realize that I made a wish That I could one day come to give you a kiss Now this daydream comes to an end For you are so far away my friend But maybe one day I will just get on a plane and fly To get my wish to soar in the sky |

Beautiful poem.... Where are you from??? Usually the poets have that on their profile so it comes up on the posts!!! It says a lot about their poetry!!!
