~*~

Breezes blowing
Flowers growing

Sun is shining
Ivies twining

Farmer sowing
Seeds are growing

Birds are singing
Bluebells ringing

Children playing
Ponies neighing

Kites are flying
Willows sighing

Skinny dipping
Julep sipping

Barbecuing
Mouths are drooling

Lovers swooning
Songbirds crooning

Thunder rolling
Church bells tolling

Gardens blooming
Hornets zooming

Showers falling
Birds are calling

Summer's coming
Beach-side sunning

*sigh* a beautiful vision of summer....Unfortunately outside my window the birds are singing because of the cold..We got a dump of a foot of snow last night and it is still falling...

Oh, this just makes me want to get out and dig in the dirt!  We're having a grey day, but no matter, the lilacs are in bloom and the birds are singing.  What a happy poem!

Miss Linda,

I love it when you write like this.
Makes me grin and reminds me of the animal sounds poem, not in content; but the fun, lively, unlifting ~happy~ of them....

Have a great day,
FYI: all is well with us,

Hugs, Pat

(smiles) Oh Linda, I love the summer as spring is my most favorite season! (kiss on cheek) Yay, now to go sing with the bluebirds, show off attire like ladybugs and play hide and seek like praying mantis with my sisters, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I missed seeing this earlier but sure glad I found it this evening. What a happy, happy poem.

Just one thing ... Skinny dipping.  There doesn't seem to be this going on in my end of the swamp so I'm heading to your end! Yippeeeee .... now this is going to be some kind of summer!

Marti ~

It usually takes me a couple of drinks (iced teas!) to get me to take my angel vestments off and dive into the water in the suit that God gave me on my day of birth!

But, come on in! The water "will" be fine in a few weeks and then you and I can host a
Pip "Get-to-know-each-other-better party!!!

Now that is what I'd call "Fun in the Sun!"
Mind you, the nighttime parties are even more fun!

I can't wait! It's given me incentive to lose the 5 pounds I gained during the war with Iraq!

You're on! I'd love to join you! And you are quite welcome to join the skinny dipping party that Marti and I will be hosting--however, she doesn't know about that yet!

Thank you for the special reply!
